William Ernest Robertson

   William E. Robertson, 94, of Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in Vidant Chowan Hospital.

   Mr. Robertson was born in Montgomery County, VA on January 31, 1926, and was the son of the late Ernest M. Robertson and Corona Mae Lyons Robertson.  A chemist with National Lead Company in Brooklyn, NY, after he retired he moved to Edenton. He was an Army veteran having served in the Korean War.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Doris M. Troxell.

   Surviving are his nephew, Russell Troxell; and nieces, Debbie Bower, Paula Hess, and Tammie Comegys, and their families, all of Maryland.

   Inurnment will be in the columbarium at Edenton United Methodist Church where he had been a member.
