William Earl Dail, Jr.

   William Earl Dail, Jr., 56, of Grimesland, NC, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 in his home.

   He was born July 31, 1965. Those who knew him appreciated and loved him for his generosity, humor, and heart of gold. A graduate of East Carolina University, he was dedicated to his profession having been employed in a laboratory at Vidant Medical Center, now ECU Health, for more than 30 years. Other enjoyments included his love of traveling, fishing, and gatherings with his friends. He lived a simple, but very full life.

   Surviving is his sister, Terrie Bryant (husband, Brock); his two nieces, Ashly Burnette and Jessica Bryant; three nephews, Brock Jr., James, and Joshua Bryant; and two very special friends, Laurie Driscoll and Mary Mayancsik.

   A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday, June 26, at 4:00 p.m. in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Elizabeth City, and will be conducted by Pastor Darryl Stallings. Friends may visit with the family at the gravesite immediately following the service.
