William E. Clark, Jr.

   William E. Clark, Jr., 73, of Hertford, NC, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

   Mr. Clark was born in Peoria, Illinois on May 9, 1947 and was the son of the late William E. Clark, Sr. and Helen Chapman Clark. A longtime resident of River Oaks in Norfolk, VA, he retired from the Norfolk Ford Assembly Plant in 1995.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Billie Jean Archer, Joanne Clark, and Margaret Copley; a son, Randle Bohren; and by a daughter, JoAnna Clark.

   A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, surviving are his wife of 37 years, Brenda Clark; his five children, Theresa Bohren of Rocky Mount, James Bohren of Knotts Island, Wanda Williams, William E. Clark III, and Teresa Brickhouse, all of Hertford; a sister, Ava Clark-Heiser of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers, Steven Clark (Terri) of Norfolk and Charles Clark (Daris) of Pensacola, FL; 25 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

   A memorial service will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the residence, 131 Red Maple Avenue, Hertford.
