Wayne Bradford Mingin

   Wayne Bradford Mingin, 77, of 126 Ottawa Trail, Edenton, NC, died Sunday, June 13, 2021 in Elizabeth City Health & Rehabilitation Center.

   Mr. Mingin was born in Mays Landing, NJ on October 22, 1943, and was the son of the late Charles Wilson Mingin and Miriam Bennett Mingin Grob. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Hoggatt; a son, Adam Mingin; and his brother, Chuck Mingin.

   A retired mechanic with the maintenance department of the City of Chesapeake, VA, he was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church and had served in the United States Navy.

   Surviving is his son, Christopher Mingin and wife, Melissa of Edenton; and four grandchildren, Jonathan James Hoggatt, Haley Elizabeth Nash, Isabella Grace Mingin, and Wyatt Thomas Mingin.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 17 at 2:00 p.m. in Faith Fellowship Baptist Church, 3500 Virginia Road, Tyner.  The burial of his cremated remains will be in the family plot at Mays Landing, NJ.
