Tommy Dail, Jr.

   Thomas Dean "Tommy" Dail, Jr., 59, of South Mills, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in his home.

   Born in Pasquotank County on April 10, 1960, he was the son of Carolyn Dozier Dail of South Mills and the late Thomas Dean Dail, Sr. A lifelong farmer, he had also been employed for several years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Great Bridge, VA.

   Surviving in addition to his mother are his two brothers, Steve Dail of South Mills and Scott Dail of Lenoir; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

   Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, and will be conducted by Pastor Darryl Stallings. A private burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Elizabeth City. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the service.
