Todd Geddings

   Michael Todd Geddings, 53, of 64 Sawyer Road, Gates, NC, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019, in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA.

   Mr. Geddings was born in Wilmington on October 26, 1965, and was the son of Dixie Rambeau Manus of Gates and the late Roby Council Geddings. A fire system inspector and installer, he was employed with Johnson Controls in Norfolk, VA. A veteran, he had served in the US Navy. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Roger Manus.

   Surviving along with his mother are his wife of 24 years, Renee Dennis Geddings; his son, Nicholas Ryan Geddings of Gates; two sisters, Sherry Burkette and Gerry Almond, both of Charlotte; and a brother, R.C. Geddings of Calabash.

   Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Saturday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any chapter of the American Heart Association.
