Thomas James Hoster

   Thomas James Hoster, 69, of 42 Home Port Lane, Gates, NC, died Saturday, November 4, 2023 in his home.

   Mr. Hoster was born on February 7, 1954 and was the son of the late William James Hoster, Sr. and Irene Margaret Stallings Hoster.

   Formerly employed as a security officer with The Children’s Hospital of The Kings Daughters in Norfolk, he had served in both the United States Marine Corps and the National Guard.

   Surviving is his life-partner, Roberta Fontan Santiago; four children, Heather Marie, Holly May, John, and Steven Hoster; his sister, Annie Clover of Savannah, GA; and his brother, William James Hoster, Jr. of Roxbury, PA.

   In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and no services are planned.
