Thomas Anthony Bloom

   Thomas Anthony Bloom, 61, of 186 Gates School Road, Gates, NC, died Saturday, October 8, 2022.

   Mr. Bloom was born in Monroe County, Pennsylvania on April 9, 1961, and was the son of the late Daniel Webster and Jane Monahan Bloom.

   A driver with Houff Transfer, Inc. in Suffolk, VA, he was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association where he was known by his biker buddies as “Tom-Tom”, and was active in New Vision Ministries in Murfreesboro.

   Surviving is his daughter, Christa B. Grosvenor (husband, James) of Jonesboro, AR; his son, Andrew Bloom (fiancé, Gabrielle Daley) of Williamstown, NJ; two sisters, Pat Bloom of Mt. Pocono, PA and Nancy Hiravy of Stamford, CT; two brothers, Danny Bloom of New Zealand and Billy Bloom of Reeders, PA; and eight grandchildren, Kyra and Kylie Bloom, Addison, Abigail, Tabitha, Anna, and James Grosvenor IV, and Evelyn Clawges.

   A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 15^th, at 11:00 a.m. in New Vision Ministries and will be conducted by Pastor Sandy Outlaw. Friends are invited to visit with the family in the church the hour prior to services.
