Teresa Oney Ray

   Teresa Oney Ray, 67, formerly of Edenton, NC, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018.

Born in Roanoke, VA on October 19, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Floyd, Jr. and Arlene Goad Oney. Employed as a nurse for many years, she was a member of Berea Church of Christ, and had also enjoyed fellowship in Cape Colony Church of Christ.

   Surviving are her son, Scott Freeman and wife, Esther, of Pinnacle; her daughter, Elizabeth Strange and husband, Cory, of Battleboro; a brother, Audie Oney of Fairview Lake; a sister, Gleena Oney of Winston-Salem; and four grandchildren, Ashton, Myles, Carissa, and Jadon.

   A memorial service will be held Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in Berea Church of Christ and will be conducted by Minister Eddie Clark.
