Taylor Elaina Jethro, 26, of 1218 Macedonia Road, Edenton, NC, left this world a little less bright on Wednesday, September 26, 2018.
Born in Chowan County on July 30, 1992, she was the daughter of Carol Tarkington Lane of Edenton and the late David Wayne Jethro. As a former dental assistant, she was employed with Martin Tyrrell Washington Dental Clinic, and was a member of Edenton Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roy Earl and Sarah Bateman Tarkington; and by her paternal grandfather, Dallas Lee Jethro, Jr.
Surviving along with her mother are her daughter, Anaïs; her step-father, Michael Lane; her sister, Morgan Jethro Potts and husband, Jason, of Washington; her paternal grandmother, Annie White Jethro of Edenton; two step-brothers, Ryan Lane of Edenton, and Brent Lane of Stokes; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A service celebrating her life will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by Pastors Stephen Mizell and Thomas Biggs. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a college fund established at Edward Jones of Edenton for Anaïs. Please designate on the memo line of the check “for benefit of Anaïs – 529.”
