Sylvia Wrae Copeland Morgan

   Sylvia Wrae Copeland Morgan, 81, of Oakdale Drive, Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in her home.

   Mrs. Morgan was born in Perquimans County on January 11, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Basil W. and Sylvia Lamb Copeland. Retired as the manager of Morgan’s Rest Home, later Country Oaks Manor, in Hertford, she was raised in the fellowship of Piney Woods Friends Meeting in Belvidere.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Sammy Langley and Seth Mac Morgan; her sons, Michael Eugene Copeland and Steven Wray Langley; her sister, Shirley Elliott; and her brother, Preston Copeland.

   Surviving are a son, William Carl “Billy” Copeland (LaDonna); six grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Sara, Kaylee, Samuel, and Will; and three great-grandchildren, Roger, Henry, and Clyde.

   In accordance with her wishes, no service will be held.

   Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
