Sylvia Pike Pritchett

   Sylvia Jean Pike Pritchett, 64, of 307 E. Queen Street, Lot A, Edenton, NC, died Thursday, August 8, 2019, at her daughter’s home on Mexico Road in Edenton.

   Mrs. Pritchett was born in Chowan County on October 11, 1954, and was the daughter of the late David V. and Bessie Vanhorn Pike. She had formerly worked as the retail manager at CVS Pharmacy in Edenton.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Daniel Pritchett, Sr.; and by a brother, David Ray Pike.

   Surviving are her daughter, Beverly P. Hansley and husband, Nathan, of Edenton; a son, Edward D. Pritchett, Jr. of Harrisville, IL; a brother, Terry Pike of Merry Hill; and two grandchildren, Alyssa Hansley and Nathan Hansley, Jr.

   A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 15^th, at 2:00 p.m. in Cape Colony Church of Christ, and will be officiated by the Rev. Thomas Biggs.
