Suzanne Russ Buchanan

   Suzanne Russ Buchanan, 63, of 605 North Main Street, Winton, NC, died Tuesday, February 18, 2020, in Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.

   Mrs. Buchanan was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on May 24, 1956, and was the daughter of the late Perry Dallas Russ and Edna Mae Williams Russ. Formerly employed as a billing clerk, and with her husband in his construction business, she was now the owner and operator of DGF Graphics (formerly Tall Cotton Graphics).

   Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Stephen D. Buchanan, Jr.; her daughter, Amanda Sue Foster and husband, Bruce, of Eure; her son, Stephen David Buchanan of Rome, GA; her sister, Juliann Sizemore of Gatesville; and her brothers, Phillip David Russ of Atlanta, GA and Michael Owen Russ of Greenville. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Annabelle Foster, and Amanda, Amber, Hayden, and Jayden Buchanan.

   In accordance with her wishes, private services are being planned by the family. Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, assisted with the cremation arrangements.
