Susan Krezel Price

   Susan Krezel "Sue" Price, 79, of Hertford, NC, died Saturday, December 29, 2018, in Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City.

   A native of Buffalo, NY, she was born on May 10, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Theodore Thomas and Georgina Notley Krezel. A longtime resident of Newport News, VA, she retired from a banking career after 25 years of employment and moved to beautiful Snug Harbor in Hertford. Memberships enjoyed included Warwick Chapter #43 of The Order of the Eastern Star where she had served as past matron, the Snug Harbor Civic League and Tennis Group, and as a past member of the board of governors of the Snug Harbor Property Owners Association. She attended Snug Harbor Community Church.

   Surviving are her husband of 61 years, John Henry Price, Sr.; two sons, John Price, Jr. and wife, Michelle, and Robert Price and wife, Debra; five grandchildren, Jordan and wife, Lesley, Scott and wife, Amanda, Jennifer, Julie, and Jessica Price; and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Corbin.

   A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 6, at 2:00 p.m. in Snug Harbor Community Church, and will be conducted by the Rev. Stanley Nixon. Friends may join the family in the fellowship hall of the church immediately following the service.
