Susan Cox Burnett

   Susan Cox Burnett, 81, formerly of Sailway Court, Hertford, NC, died Saturday, April 4, 2020 in Chowan River Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Edenton.

   Mrs. Burnett was born in Suffolk County, NY on June 29, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Harry Ward and Anne Marie Heede Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Robert Burnett, Jr., her son, Don Atten, and by her brother, Pete Cox.

   Surviving are her daughter, Tina Atten; her son, Mark Atten; a sister, Chris Lusher; and four grandchildren.
