Raymond Moore

   Steven Raymond Moore, 22, of 3413 Rocky Hock Road, Edenton, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his home.

   Born in Fairfax County, VA on May 12, 1998, he was the son of Steven David and Frances Katrene Mizelle Moore of Edenton. A small engine mechanic, he was an avid outdoorsman and loved gardening, fishing, and animals, and especially taking care of his chickens. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Danny Lee Moore, and by his maternal grandfather, Francis Willoughby Mizelle.

   Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Emily Elizabeth Moore of Edenton; a brother, Philip Terrance Dail of Meridian, MS; paternal grandmother, Rita McCall Erbes of Reed City, MI; maternal grandmother, Rachel Katrene White of Williamston; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

   Graveside services will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor, and will be conducted by Pastor A.J. Layton. Friends may join the family at the residence.
