Sally Franklin Lowrance

   Sally Franklin Lowrance, 65, of Gates, NC, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, from her residence where she was surrounded by her family.

   Born on April 19, 1953 in Honesdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Alice Bishop Franklin. A veteran, she proudly served the country as a Specialist 4th Class in the US Army, having served for a total of 20 years in active duty and with civil service from 1973 to 1993. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Kleinhan, and by a brother, Claude Franklin.

   Sally leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Glen Lowrance; two brothers, Dwight Franklin of Gates and Frank Franklin of Lynchburg, VA; three daughters, Martha Fairbanks (Dennis, Jr.) of Charlottesville, VA, Fantasia Lowrance of Gates, and Susan Yelton of Roduco; four grandchildren, Austin, Aaron, Jesse, and Cataleya; and many extended family members and friends.

   A private memorial service will be held. Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
