Roger Earl Berry, Sr.

   Roger Earl Berry, Sr., 73, of 831 NC Hwy. 343 South, Camden, NC, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 in Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City.

   Mr. Berry was born in Pasquotank County on June 13, 1950, and was the son of the late George Washington Berry and Mabel Brickhouse Berry. A retired small engine repair mechanic, he owned and operated Rebco in Camden for many years.

   Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Connie Faye Miller Berry; a daughter, Consuelo Berry of Currituck; two sons, Roger E. Berry, Jr. of Currituck and Thomas Lee Berry (wife, Marcia) of Camden; two sisters, Peggy Sylvester of Jacksonville, NC and Patricia Berry of Waynesboro, PA; two brothers, Bill Berry of Raleigh and Orville Berry of Moyock; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

   A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, March 7, at 11:00 a.m. in Fellowship Baptist Church, 871 Tulls Creek Rd., Moyock.
