Raymond Maryian Korbusieski

   Raymond M. Korbusieski, 92, of Edenton, NC, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 in The Landings of Albemarle, Hertford.

   Mr. Korbusieski was born in Waterbury, CT on September 13, 1929, and was the son of the late Frank and Emilja Sembersky Korbusieski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, June LaPointe Korbusieski, a sister, Domilca Wright, and by a brother, John Korbusieski.

   A teacher, he retired from Manchester Public Schools in 1989 following 42 years of service.  An Army veteran, he served from 1952 to 1954 and was an Ammunition Supply Specialist at The Ordnance School, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Following active duty he transferred to the Army Reserve and served for a total of eight years. He was a Catholic by faith.

   Surviving is his son, Dr. Todd Joseph Korbusieski and wife, Wendy, of Edenton; and two grandchildren, Briana Korbusieski of Elizabeth City and Evan Korbusieski of Austin, TX.

   In accordance with his wishes, no services are planned.
