Phyllis Whitley Everett

   Phyllis Jo Whitley Everett, 72, of 1643 NC Highway 32 South, Plymouth, NC, died Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in ECU Health Bertie Hospital in Windsor.

   Ms. Everett was born in Martin County on August 28, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Jake and Magaline Beach Whitley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Whitley.

   A homemaker, she was a member of Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Plymouth.

   Surviving are her children, Dana Everett Baur (Mark) and Cliff Everett (Kathryn), both of Plymouth, and Kevin Everett of Rocky Mount; a brother, Ronnie Whitley of Windsor; four grandchildren, Holly Gardner, Halyley Spencer, Mark Baur, Jr., and Dannie Mae Everett.

   Plans are being made for a memorial service and those arrangements, when made, will be updated to this website obituary.
