Peggy Johnson Stallings

   Peggy Johnson Stallings, 85, of 835 Acorn Hill Road, Hobbsville, NC, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 in her home.

   Mrs. Stallings was born in Suffolk, VA on October 28, 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kemrial Rudolph “Pete” Stallings, Sr., daughters, Deborah Phillips and Karen Austin, sons, Kemrial Jr. and Robert Stallings; and by brothers, James and David Lee Johnson. A homemaker, she was a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church.

   Surviving is her daughter, Diana Lynn Passell (husband, Rodney) of LaGrange; nine grandchildren, Jimmy, Matt, Joey, Kemrial “Buddy”, Josh, Brandon, Teddy, Robbie, and Ricky; and 12 great-grandchildren.

   Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Sandy Cross Baptist Church. A private burial will follow in the family cemetery near the home. Friends may join the family in the church social hall immediately following the service.
