Paul Martin

   Paul Martin, a former longtime resident of Chowan County, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 achieving his wish to see one more birthday. At his side was his wife of 34 years, Vickey.

   Paul fought a good fight against five different types of cancer in the past two years. The doctors who diagnosed the first cancer said a long life with no worries was possible. The second cancer was different. Paul chose no treatment desiring quality of life regardless of what the future brought him.

   Paul was known for how he could take apart something broken; put it back together, and with one push or pull it came to life again. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
