   Patsy Adair Taylor, 87, of 205 South Oakum Street, Edenton, NC, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018, in her home.

   Miss Taylor was born in Beaufort County on November 2, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Walter John and Lois Adair Winslow Taylor. A longtime resident of Greensboro, she retired in 1996 as a Travel Consultant and moved back to Edenton, living in and renovating her childhood home. She was a member of Edenton Baptist Church.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anne Taylor Boyce; and by brothers, Gene Winslow Taylor and Walter John Taylor, Jr.

   Surviving are her sister, Catherine Taylor Townson and husband, Jerry, of Murphy; her brother-in-law, Jake Boyce of Edenton; a niece, Hope Boyce Mauney and husband, David; a nephew, Taylor Cameron Boyce and wife, Emma; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Elizabeth Mauney, Hunter Mauney, Cameron Boyce, Lilly Anne Boyce, and Caroline Boyce.

   Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Edenton Baptist Church and will be conducted by her pastor, The Reverend David Brooks. A private burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family in the social hall immediately following the service, and all other times at the residence.

   In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Edenton Baptist Church, 200 South Granville Street, Edenton, NC 27932.
