Patricia Weikel Griffin

   Patricia Weikel "Pat" Griffin, 81, of Edenton, NC, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 15, 2018, peacefully in her home.

   Mrs. Griffin was born in Lavelle, PA on June 25, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Melvin Samuel and Elsie Hepler Weikel. Having served in many accounting and financial roles for the last 60 years, she began her profession with Atlantic Discount Corporation in Elizabeth City and currently served as the Chief Financial Officer for Strickland Auto Group in Ahoskie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Bryant Griffin; and by two brothers, Darwin "Bill" Weikel and wife, Grace, and Chester Weikel and wife, Jane.

   Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly Griffin Tyndall and husband, Lee, of Angier; two brothers, Ronald Weikel and wife, Eileen, of Navarre, FL, and Richard Weikel and wife, Paulette, of Sunbury; and three granddaughters, Kristen, Karlee, and Kolleen Tyndall, who she loved dearly and affectionately called “Her Girls".

   Friends may join the family for a time of visitation to celebrate her life Friday, November 23, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton.
