Nicola Harrell "Nicki" Felton

   Nicola JoAlice Harrell “Nicki” Felton, 70, of 176 Perkins Road, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, in her home where she was being cared for by family.

   Mrs. Felton was born in Frankfurt, Germany on December 9, 1954, and was the daughter of the late Eugene Joseph and Vera Leah Toleman Harrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Brent Harrell. A retired bookkeeper, she had been employed with Brinkley Hardware and Fowler’s Sales and Service. She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.

   Surviving is her husband of 44 years, Henry Joseph “Joe” Felton; a daughter, Angela Leah Felton “Angie” Sadler (Michael); a son, Jonathan Ryan Felton (Evelyn), both of Eure; a sister, DeAnne Boykin of Wilson; and two grandchildren, Annabelle Leah Sadler and Joseph Michael Felton.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 12, at 3:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 202 Church Street, Gatesville. Friends may visit with the family in the parish hall immediately following the service and other times at the residence.

   The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to her caregiver, Sheila Stallings, for her dedication and support to Mrs. Felton during her time of need.
