Nicholas Wright

   Charles Nicholas Wright, 18, of 774 Hobbsville Road, Hobbsville, NC, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at his home.

   Nicholas was born on September 21, 2003 and was a lifelong resident of Gates County. He graduated from Gates County High School in January and worked with his Uncle Todd at Indian Neck Farms in Hobbsville. He loved to hunt and fish, care for his dogs and cats, help his Aunt Taylor with the horses, and just being outdoors.

   Surviving are his parents, mother, Karen Beamon Bennett (husband, Shane) of Hobbsville, and father, Charles Curtis Wright of Gatesville; his grandfathers, Ray “Coochie” Beamon (Linda, deceased) of Gatesville and William Nicholas Wright (Catherine, deceased) of Virginia Beach; aunts and uncles, Sandra Beamon, Danny Beamon, John Beamon (wife, Betty), Gordon Beamon (wife, Lisa), Jennifer Beamon, Nick Wright Jr., Stephanie Kiley (husband, Bill), Taylor Lewis (husband, Todd), and Hunter Palmer; and many cousins and extended family members that he loved deeply.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. on Bennett’s Creek at Taylor and Todd’s home, 61 Indian Neck Road, and will be conducted by Pastor Elizabeth Villegas of Gatesville United Methodist Church. Friends may visit with the family immediately after the service.

   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you plant a tree in his memory, or donate to any local SPCA to help with the care of animals.
