Nancy Trask Wood

 Nancy Trask Wood, of Edenton, North Carolina, died on Monday, December 9, 2024.

 Born in Wilmington, North Carolina on March 24, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Christian Heide and Nell Hunter Trask.

 Surviving are her children, Heide Wood Seward (Bernard), John Gilliam Wood IV (Susan), and Edward Wadsworth Wood; her grandchildren, John Gilliam Wood V (Laura Beth), George Christian Wood, Caroline Wood McHenry (Ryan), and Anna Kathryn Wood, and her great-grandchildren, John Gilliam VI and Gibson Wood McHenry. She is also survived by a brother, Christian Heide Trask (Cason).

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Nell Trask Hooper (Joe) and Madeline Trask Hickmon (Jim).

 A memorial service will be held Monday, December 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Edenton, North Carolina. Friends may visit the family in the parish hall immediately following the service.
