Michele Lee Ashbaugh

   Michele Lee Ashbaugh, 52, of 283 Sandy Cross Road, Hobbsville, NC, died Friday, June 16, 2023 in her home where she was cared for by her family.

   Michele was born in Seneca County, New York on October 4, 1970, and was the daughter of the late Roy Henry Ashbaugh, Sr. and Joanne Snyder.

   Her life was a traveled one, and she made many friends along the way, living in upstate New York, Maryland, Virginia, and finally in North Carolina. A travel nurse specializing in OR duties, she worked in many hospitals including Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC and UVA University Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. Lastly she was employed with Urology of Virginia in Virginia Beach.

   Surviving are her daughters, Chana and Ahava Shull; her son, Max Shull; her brother, Roy H. Ashbaugh, Jr.; and her “life husband”, Randall Mouser.

   Plans are being made for a memorial service, and when finalized, those arrangements will be updated to his obituary.
