Marty Gene Bunch

 Marty Gene Bunch, 59, of Belvidere, NC, died Monday, January 27, 2025, in Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City.

 Mr. Bunch was born in Norfolk, VA on July 30, 1965, and was the son of the late Garland Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Cartwright Bunch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Ferguson, and a grandson, Brian Christopher Chappell.

 He had been employed as a truck driver.

 Surviving are his two daughters, Kristy Melton (husband, Kevin) of Belvidere and Ashley Bradley of Hertford; a son, Marty “Kix” Bunch (wife, Crystal) of Tyner; three sisters, Gloria Roth of Huntsville, AL, Marietta Wright and Teresa Blizard, both of Decatur, AL; a brother, Garland Jospeh “Big Joey” Bunch of Moyock; five grandchildren, Hailey Chappell, Brent Melton, Jayden Spence, Julianna Bradley, and Natalie Bunch; a step-grandson, Brandon Melton; and special friend, Shawn Whidbee (wife, Theria).

 Private services will be held by the family. Friends may join the family at Kristy and Kevin’s home.
