Mark Steven Haney

   Mark Steven Haney, 66, of Hertford, NC, died Thursday, March 30, 2023 in Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.

   Mr. Haney was born in Lake County, IL on February 4, 1957, and was the son of the late Louis Haney and Rita Trotter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Dick "Uncle" Trotter, a sister, and by a brother. A retired janitor, he was a member of the Eagle's Club in Waukegan, IL, and he loved to fish.

   Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Eunice Panzer Haney; a daughter, Natasha Davidson (Tony) of Edenton; and other extended family members and friends.

   A private service will be held.
