Marie Dail Jones

   Eva Marie Dail Jones, 50, of 646 Happy Home Road, Tyner, NC, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021, in her home.

   Marie was born in Chowan County on July 21, 1970, and was the only child of Earl C. and Arleen Mosley Dail of Edenton. Employed in the Information Technology Department of Jernigan Oil, she was a member of Lighthouse of Hope Church in Woodland, where she attended with her late husband, Ray Anthony Jones.

   In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiancé, Tommy Priest of Tyner; her maternal grandmother, Florence Morris Mosley of the Rocky Hock community in Chowan County; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

   A memorial service will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by the Rev. Randy Pierce. Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home the hour prior to the service. Masks are required, and social distancing measures should be followed by those attending.
