Lynn Jordan Brinkley

   Lynn Jordan Brinkley, 54, of Knight's Lane, Corapeake, NC, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 in her home.

   Born in Suffolk, VA, she was the daughter of Janice Lee Bowen Jordan of Portsmouth, VA and the late Donald Ray Jordan. A homemaker, she had also worked as a caregiver for the elderly. She attended Mars Hill Baptist Church.

   Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Channan Parish Brinkley, III; a son, Adam Hoag (Roshawn) of Virginia Beach, VA; two step-sons, Channan Brinkley, IV (Alyisa) of Colerain and Brian Brinkley (Cassy) of Chuckatuck, VA; three step-daughters, Sabrina Shelion (Mike) of Gates, Christy Mixon (Jamie) of Windsor, VA, and Nikki Brinkley of Mt. Olive; four sisters, Donna Sugarman of Portsmouth, Debbie Lunsford of Newport News, VA, Melinda Smith of Portsmouth, and Leah Jones of Suffolk, VA; and eight grandchildren.
