Lynda Engle Rash

   Lynda Diane Engle Rash, 63, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 in Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

   Mrs. Rash was born in Brunswick, GA on October 7, 1959, and was the daughter of the late James Robert and Mary LaBlanche Johnson Engle. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. One of her favorite pastimes was playing the game Mahjongg Solitaire. A veteran, she had served in the Navy.

   Surviving is her husband of 20 years, David Lyons Rash; a son, Isaiah L. Rash; two daughters, Erika Faye Joshy and Dianah Kay White; a sister, Brenda D. Lee; an aunt, Linda Johnson; five grandchildren, Santana, Kayleah, and Alexziah Espinoza, and Eric and Lillyfaye Joshy; and her beloved canine companion, “Slick Rick”.

   In accordance with her wishes, private services will be held.
