Lindsey Cara Styons

   Lindsey Cara Styons, 34, of 2542 Virginia Road, Edenton, NC, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 in her home where she was cared for by her family.

   Lindsey was born in Washington County on February 14, 1988, and was the daughter of John Wayne Styons, Jr. (wife, Lee) of Plymouth and Jacqueline Browning White (husband, Philip) of Tyner. She was a homemaker, mother, and friend.

   In addition to her parents, she is survived by her life partner, Joel Sherwood McCoy, and their daughter, Summer Rayne Styons-McCoy; sisters, Hallie White and Ellen Styons; brothers, Matt White (Courtney), Stephen White, Jonathan Styons (Celsey), and Jamie Styons; nieces, Natalee White and Emmie Styons; nephew, Cason White; and many friends and extended family members.

   A service to celebrate her life and the memories she leaves will be held on Saturday, July 30^th, at 1:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Baptist Church Community Building, 944 Sandy Ridge Road, Tyner, NC.
