Linda Lane Cullipher

   Linda Lou Lane Cullipher, 64, of 212 Riverview Lane, Merry Hill, NC, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, in her home.

   Mrs. Cullipher was born in Chowan County on February 15, 1954, and was the daughter of the late Vernon Watson and Doris Small Lane. A homemaker, she had formerly managed the Lutheran Family Services Group Homes in Windsor and Woodland. Having a tender heart, she loved babies and animals, and loved to care for them. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

   Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Daniel Paul Cullipher, Sr.; two daughters, Kristy Renee Cullipher of Edenton and Kara Cullipher Stoughton and husband, Shane, of Willard, Missouri; a son, Daniel Paul Cullipher, Jr. and wife, Michelle, of Ahoskie; a sister, Rebecca Lane Bissette of Merry Hill; five granddaughters, Bethany Manning Miller and husband, Jesse, Elizabeth Ashlyn Manning, Holly Marie Stoughton, Courtney Lynn Stoughton, and Zoe Faith Cullipher; two great-grandchildren, Charlotte Marie Miller and Samuel Grayson Miller; a great-granddaughter due to be born on January 11^th, Reagan Lucille Miller; and her faithful doggie babies, Ziggy, Piper, and Ginger.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by the Rev. Buck Leary. A private burial will be in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home, and all other times at the residence.
