Lester Franklin Lewis

   Lester Franklin Lewis, 83, of 300 Country Club Drive, Edenton, NC, died Thursday, August 6, 2020 in his home.

   Mr. Lewis was born in Craven County on September 11, 1936, and was the son of the late Eric and Etta Lewis. A retired inspector from the NC Marine Fisheries, he was a member of the former Albemarle Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla Dozier Lewis.

   Surviving are his son, Eric Todd Lewis of Edenton; a granddaughter, Caitlyn Brianna Lewis of Reno, NV; a sister, Ann Gardner of Morehead City; and a brother, Leroy Lewis of Florida.

   Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery, and will be conducted by Chaplain Scott Taylor.

   Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
