Larry Dean Skinner

Larry Dean Skinner, 66, of Edenton, NC, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Mr. Skinner was born in Chowan County on October 28, 1958, and was the son of the late Jarvis Larry Skinner and Barbara White Stillman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jodie Lynn Skinner, and by his stepfather, C.J. Stillman.

Dean retired as a supervisor with the NC Department of Transportation following 30 years of employment.

Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Pamela Byrum Skinner; two daughters, Wendy Byrum (Eric) of Manteo and Tanya Coston (Jaleel) of Edenton; his son, Johnny Wine of Elizabeth City; his stepmother, Mary Smith Skinner of Edenton; a sister, Amy McCann (David) of Edenton; two brothers, Carroll Skinner (Ginger) of Tyner and Jason Skinner (Krissy) of New Mexico; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held.
