Kristopher Lee Midgett

   Kristopher Lee Midgett, 28, of Hertford, NC, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Currituck County.

   Born in Chowan County on July 19, 1990, he was the son of George Washington Midgett, III of Elizabeth City and Cindy Nixon Midgett of Edenton. A maintenance supervisor, he was employed with Wal-Mart in Kitty Hawk.

   Surviving in addition to his parents are his brothers, Jerry Wayne Midgett of Edenton and Shakir Archer of Hertford; and many extended family members and friends.

   A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, and will be conducted by the Rev. Stanley Nixon. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the service.
