Kenneth E. Minster

   Kenneth E. "Ken" Minster, 79, of Hertford, NC, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 in his home.

   Mr. Minster was born in Monroe County, NY on March 23, 1941, and was the son of the late Dwight and Olive Wells Minster. A Veteran of the US Army, he was a retired manufacturing representative, serviced his community on the Canandaigua Town Board for nine years, was an active member of the Rotarians, a volunteer for Canandaigua Merrill Hose Fire Department, and most recently was an active member of Snug Harbor Property Owner Association. His favorite hobby was woodworking. According to Ken, everything was “perfect”.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Minster.

   Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Eileen Mamott Minster; two sons, Bryan Minster of Denver, CO and Erik Minster of Canandaigua, NY; two grandchildren, Blake Minster of Los Angles, CA and Olivia Minster of Denver; a brother, Richard Minster and wife, Pricilla, of Pittsford, NY; a sister-in-law, Lois Minster of Scottsville, NY; and his lap dog, Sadie.

   A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 111 Huron Trail, Hertford.
