Kenneth David Lambert

   Kenneth David Lambert, CPO US Navy, Retired, 85, of 1301 Archie Mobley Road, Williamston, NC,  went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, April 10, 2023 from his home.

   Mr. Lambert was born in Akron, Ohio on January 25, 1938 and was the son of Russell and Gladys Mae McBride Lambert. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sue Anne Lambert Shellhammer Fromm, and by his brother, Earl Lambert.

   Mr. Lambert retired after 25 years of service in the United States Navy, attaining the rank of CPO and working in the Medical Corpsman field. After his military service, he worked in law enforcement, serving on the Williamston and Robersonville Police Departments and on the Martin County Sheriff’s Department.

   Surviving is his beloved wife of 33 years, Lucille Anne Warwick Lambert; three daughters, Heather (Vince) Gallinoto of Bethel, Misty (Bruce) Van Apledoorn and Kimberly Lambert, both of Mentone, Alabama; three sons, Paul (Terra) Drazen of Bristol Tennessee, Keith Lambert of Brookings, Oregon and Tony Lambert. Also surviving are three special grandchildren who brought him immense joy and pride, Aliyah and Kiari Drazen of Bethel and Jaydin Drazen of Bristol Tennessee, along with 13 other grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a number of special friends.

   Beyond his professional life, he was passionate about his yard. Lambert enjoyed being out in his yard every day and hanging out with his three dogs, Aly, Ginger and Blaze.

   Mr. Lambert will be remembered by his sense of humor and commitment to his family and peers. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

   Friends are invited to join the family for a gathering of remembrance on Sunday April 16 at 2 pm at the residence, come prepared to tell your best stories.
