Justin Carter Trotman

   Justin Carter Trotman, 35, of the Trotville community, Hobbsville, NC, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in his home.

   Justin was born in Chowan County on March 7, 1985. A graduate of Gates County High School, most of his life was spent on the family farm, where his favorite tractor was a John Deere 8320, where he loved to fish, and where he interacted with any animal he came across. Justin loved people, never meeting a stranger, and talking to anyone. He was a member of Hobbsville Baptist Church.

   Surviving are his mother, Carolyn Carter Harrell (husband, William David Harrell); his father, Dennis Lee Trotman (Janet Overton); and his sister, Jessica Trotman Kaplar (husband, Paul, and their children, Mackenzie and Colton). Also surviving are his aunts, Penny Wiggins, (husband, G.S.), Teri Campbell (husband, Robert), and Brenda Carter; and cousins, Ethan, Colin, and Carter.

   A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, March 7^th, at 1:00 p.m. in Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery and will be conducted by his pastor, The Rev. Tim Dannelly. With restrictions associated with the Covid-19 Pandemic, no formal visitation is being held, however friends may visit with the family at the gravesite immediately following the service.
