Judy White Hollowell

   Judy Ann White Hollowell, 72, of Edenton, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Chowan River Nursing and Rehabilitation, Edenton.

   Ms. Hollowell was born in Chowan County on January 18, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Sidney Wallace White, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Jordan White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Twiford, and by a brother, Jimmy White. A retired waitress from Coach House Inn where she had been employed for many years, she was a member of Edenton Baptist Church.

   Surviving is her son, Charles H. Hollowell, Jr. of Elizabeth City; her daughter, Melanie H. Dail of Williamston; two brothers, Sidney W. “Sid” White, Jr. of Edenton and William “Jerry” White of Chester, VA; and five grandchildren, Chase, Sydney, Matthew, Miranda, and Johnny.

   Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton. A private burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
