Joshua Allen Rea

   Joshua Allen Rea, 29, of Edenton, NC, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019.

   Born June 14, 1989, in Chowan County, he was the son of Robert S. “Bobby” Rea of Edenton and Rita Dawn Layton of Cordele, Georgia. He was employed in construction.

   Surviving in addition to his parents are a daughter, Madison Danielle Rea; two brothers, Jason Reagan Rea, USMC, and Cody Stanton Rea; two half-brothers, Dustin Layden, and Alex Layton; and his fiancé, Kristi D. Nixon.

   A gathering for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 16^th, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Edward G. Bond Post 40 of the American Legion, 1317 West Queen Street, Edenton.
