John Joseph Westen

   John Joseph Westen, 92, of Wharf Landing, Edenton, NC, died Friday, July 5, 2019, in Three Rivers Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Windsor.

   Mr. Westen was born in Lakewood, NJ, and was the son of the late John Martin and Madeleine Arneth Westen. The retired owner of W & A Express, a moving and storage company, he was a Navy veteran of World War II.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Westen.

   Surviving are his wife of 74 years, Evelyn Cornelius Westen; two daughters, Ellen W. Honig and husband, Joe, of Merry Hill, and Marcia W. Cutrona and husband, Les, of Marietta, GA; two sons, Marty Westen and wife, Joyce, of Millsboro, DE, and Steve Westen and wife, Joyce, of Ijamsville, MD; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

   In accordance with his wishes, no service is planned.
