John M. Belch

 John M. Belch, 79, of Gallant, AL, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, in St. Vincent’s East Medical Center.

 Surviving is his wife, Vicky Belch; children, Wayne Belch (Stacey), Patricia West (Josh); step-children, Shonnie Hubbard (Stanley), Robin Battles (Phillip); grandchildren, Mitchell Belch, Drake Jones, Keoni Belch, Cayden Koski, Christopher Shelton, and Eiden Shelton; step-grandchildren, Ryan Hubbard, Mila Hubbard, Rebecca Hubbard, and Nathan Battles; great-grandchildren, Syree Belch and Silas Belch; step-great-grandchildren, Sawyer Hubbard and Jemma Hubbard; brothers, Elliott Luther “Buddy” Belch, Jr. and Tommy Belch (Janis); a sister, Sarah Jackson (Mike); and father-in-law, Odell Bradley.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Elliott Luther Belch Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Belch.

 A veteran, he retired from the U.S. Navy following 24 years of service.

 A memorial service will be held in Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL, on Thursday, January 6, 2025.
