Jamie White

   James Robert “Jamie” White, 47, of 720 Highway 343 North, Camden, NC, died Saturday, October 1, 2022.

   Jamie was born in Pasquotank County on May 3, 1975, and was the son of Naomi Curlings Hall of Camden and Carlton B. White, Sr. of Florida. 

   An independent contractor with Carolina Beverage Consultants, he loved serving his customers, and pulling for the Washington Redskins (yes, REDSKINS!!) and the Duke Blue Devils.

   He was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Carter, his step-father, David Hall, and by a step-brother, David Lee Hall.

   Surviving in addition to his parents is his daughter, Michelle R. White of Elizabeth City; three brothers, Carlton B. White, Jr. (wife, Teresa) of Forest, VA, Kevin W. White (wife, Wendy) of Elizabeth City, and Michael W. White (wife, Patti) of Hertford; step siblings, Joy Hall of Georgia, Jerri Hall (wife, Cindy) of Elizabeth City and Laura Eastep (husband, Brian) of Reno, NV; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

   Plans are being made for a service celebrating his life, and when complete those arrangements will be updated to this obituary.
