James Milton Terry

 James Milton “Jim” Terry, 72, of Edenton, NC, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, in his home where he was being cared for by family.

 Mr. Terry was born in Portsmouth, VA on June 24, 1952, and was the son of the late William and Carolyn White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ann Barnett Terry, and his son-in-law, Monty Tunstall.

 A retired plumber, he had been employed with ZBZ Plumbing for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved to fish.

 Surviving are his two daughters, Dixie L. Tunstall of Edenton and Shawn R. Parker (Ronnie) of Chesapeake, VA; three stepdaughters, Dottie Best (James) of Edenton, Edna Fowler (Eddie) of Belvidere, and Mary Gardner of Elizabeth City; and a stepson, Charlie Ward of Edenton. Together Jim and Patsy shared 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

 In accordance with his wishes, a private service for the family is planned.
