James Earl Hollis

   James Earl Hollis, 45, of Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, December 18, 2019, in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

   Mr. Hollis was born on July 10, 1974, in Warren County. He had worked in the construction industry.

   Surviving are his mother, Anne Hutchins Sawyer and husband, Thomas, of Elizabeth City; his father, Arnold Lee Hollis and wife, Barbara, of Columbia, SC; his sister, Brenda H. Lawson and husband, Scott, of Edenton; three nieces, three nephews, two great-nieces, and a great-nephew.

   A memorial service for family and friends to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Brenda and Scott’s home, 4063 Van Matre Road, Edenton.
