James Bryant Elkins

   James Bryant Elkins, 56, of Yeopim Trail, Edenton, NC, died Thursday, January 16, 2020, in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

   Mr. Elkins was born in Onslow County on June 16, 1963, and was the son of the late Robert Eugene Elkins, Sr. and Virginia Louise Justice Elkins. He had worked with Handicapped Associations in Norfolk, VA.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Ann Page and Rose Marie Steele; and by a brother, Robert Elkins, Jr.

   Surviving are a sister, Brenda E. Lussier of Riverside, CA; a brother, Richard L. Elkins, Sr. of Edenton; and several nieces and nephews.

   The family will hold a memorial service at a later time and those arrangements will be announced.
