James Carroll Bunch III

 James Carroll Bunch III, 34, of Chowan Garden Apartments, died Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in his home.

 James was born in Chowan County on January 8, 1991, and was the son of James Carroll, Jr. and Lisa Goodman Bunch of Edenton. Employed with Hampton Farms (Jimbo Jumbos), he was a member of Edenton Bible Holiness Church.

 In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Elizabeth Bunch; two sisters, Kayln Bunch Hayes (husband, Travis) of Edenton and Kelli Bunch Mendoza (husband, Edgar) of Colerain; a brother, Joshua Caleb Bunch (wife, Lindsay) of Greenville; and his grandparents, Carroll and Linda Bunch, and David R. Cole, all of Edenton.

 Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1st, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home and Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by the Rev. Sonny Griswold. The burial will be private in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home immediately following the service, or all other times at the home of his parents, 345 Mexico Road, Edenton.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Edenton Bible Holiness Church, P.O. Box 543, Edenton, NC 27932, where they will be directed to an educational fund being established for his daughter.
